GENERAL HINTS, TRICKS, HELP AND PLAYING TIPS
How
to get gems without buying them: Free gems are sometimes given when the
game is loaded for doing things such as, upgrading to a newer version
like Farm Story Flowers that gives you 10 gems.
Quick calculation: Subtract the amount you bought the crop for and calculate the time to see if it is worth bothering with.
Sending
gifts: This is a great way to earn money. Be sure to place all gift
items in your Farm right away so you can begin to earn from them.
Gifts: Be sure to send gifts daily to ensure people will send them back to you.
EARN FREE MONEY AND LEVEL UP FAST
Level Fast and get Free Money: When you begin to play farm story the first crop available to you is the Strawberry.
Strawberry:
Strawberries are a type of "get you started" crop but if you have time
to devote in later levels you can earn extra money which might help you
get the item you want but just need a little more money to get.
Earnings: Strawberrys earn you 1 XP each time you plant a plot of them but cost you nothing.
Quick harvest: In 5 minutes your crop will be mature you and you will earn 30 coins and 1 XP for each plot you harvest.
Plots:
If you have several plots on your Farm you can make a lot of money if
you are willing to plant, wait 5 minutes, harvest, plant again, wait 5
minutes, etc.
Plot Example: If you have 20 plots and did this
for half an hour you will have 20 XP for plowing, 100 free coins and
and another 20 XP for harvesting so every half hour you can make 40 XP
and 100 free coins or if you want to do this for an hour 80 XP and 200
coins per hour.
Never let your crops wither: It is critical you
do not let Strawberry crops wither. If they do, not only will you lose
the 30 coins and 1 XP per harvest, it will cost you 10 coins per crop
to clean it up or you will have the option of spending diamonds to
unwither the crops which is never a good choice since they are so
expensive it wouldn't be worth the money.
Be tight with funds:
In conclusion, if you are tight on funds or need to level up faster and
you have the time sit down with your iPhone, iPod or iPad plant
Strawberries for awhile. It will be well worth the time.
INCREASING STAR POWER
Increase
your Star Power: To reach non friend list neighbors tap on "Menu" then
on "Social" and at the bottom tap on "Community" this will take you to
people you can visit on your non friend neighbor list. Note the people
on top are people with the highest star ratings of 4 stars.
New
People: Each time you go back to this screen you will see new people on
the list so if you want to invite them do so while in their Farm.
Visit neighbours: To visit Neighbors that are on your friend list tap on "Neighbors" while in the Social screen.
Each
Visit: Each time you visit a Neighbor in Farm Story you can water 5
crops or trees for Neighbors not on your friend list and 10 crops or
trees for Neighbors that are on your friend list.
Watering: Each
time you water something you earn 1 Star Point and 1 XP (Experience
Point). As your Star points accumulate the meter at the bottom center
of the screen fills up and you can earn up to 4 Stars.
Star
meter: The higher your star meter rating the higher the odds that you
will be listed at the top of the list where you can visit Non friend
list neighbors.
Rating: This rating also tells others you are
the kind of player that visits neighbors often and these are the kind
of people you want to play the game with for the best outcomes.
Social
list: Since most people visit people at the top of the social list it
is to your advantage to get your Star rating as high as possible.
Invite
messages: Whilst visiting people with high star ratings you can send
them a message inviting them to you on your friend list. Then instead
of watering 5 crops or trees you can water 10 crops or trees when you
visit them next time which will increase your star ratings much faster.
You can invite them or send them a message asking them to invite you.
More visitors=less work: The more people you can get on your friend list the less work you have to do overall for money and XP.

Asparagus: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Asparagus.
Bell Pepper: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Bell Pepper.
Blackcurrant: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Blackcurrant.
Blueberry: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Blueberry.
Broccoli: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Broccoli.
Cabbage: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Cabbage.
Cantaloupe: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Cantaloupe.
Carrot: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Carrot.
Celery: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Celery.
Chili Pepper: Rank 1: Master Rank 1 of Chili Pepper.
